About World Wide Box & Packaging Corporation

 

World Wide Box & Packaging Corp. (WWBP) is a family-owned company. WWBP originated in November 1993 when the three founding partners (Robert Miller, Al Noehl, and Gary Christensen) decided they wanted to start a packaging company.

At that time, the primary business focus was making custom (wood) boxes and packaging to ship large items for their customers. In 1992 the partners bought Henning’s Pallet Company and WWBP began making custom and recycled pallets in addition to manufacturing large crates and boxes for shipping.

In the mid-1990s, the partners leased a 40,000 square foot facility and started warehousing and loading sea containers for global shipping. In 2007 two of the original partners, Al Noehl and Gary Christensen, retired from the business.

With the retirement of two of the founding partners, Jeff Zimmerman stepped in to become a partner with Robert Miller. Eventually, Jeff left the business to pursue his own company, and WWBP became solely owned by the Miller family. Although Robert is now a silent partner, he can still be occasionally seen at the Company processing quotes for customers. Trever Miller, son of Robert Miller, is the Chief Executive Officer for the company and another generation of the Miller family can be seen at the Company as well! Isabelle Miller, daughter of Trever Miller, is the Operations Manager for WWBP. It truly is a family-owned and operated business!

Isabelle joined the Company as a full-time employee in early 2018. Isabelle’s role as Logistics Coordinator is integral in the daily operations of the Company. In her role, Isabelle is responsible for order processing and timelines, quote processing for new orders, initial-level supervision of shop and delivery staff, lumber purchases, and quality control. Isabelle works closely with all manufacturing staff to ensure orders are processed and delivered on time.

Operations Manager
Kelly joined the company in 2017 and manages all finances, daily operations, and processes for the company. Kelly is the top-level supervisor for all staff and works closely with the HR Manager, Shane Langenfeld.

HR Manager, AP/AR Manager

Shane joined WWBP in 2021. In addition to managing all invoices and bills for our customers, he enters and processes all incoming payments and deposits. Additionally, Shane processes weekly payroll for all staff. Shane brings a great working knowledge of computers to WWBP and recently transitioned the Company to new accounting software.

As HR Manager, shop employees report directly to Shane with questions, concerns, and HR needs.

Trever is one of the company’s co-owners. Although Trever no longer works at the company’s physical location, he is still involved with quotes and works closely with Kelly Graham regarding operations.
